What a gem of a place - delicious coffee and bakes (especially the hazelnut pain-au-chocolat), very friendly staff, and fun and relaxing to do some colouring in and doodling while sipping on the coffee. Dog friendly - staff were SO welcoming to our two little doggies, and brought over a surprise puppy-ccino for each of them!! We will be back :)

Great concept and café; probably the best cappuccino I've had in Guildford, and my wife loved her decaf latte and our little one also enjoyed his babyccino. Lovely vibe with excellent and friendly service, art on the walls and well worth a visit

I love art and grind in my opinion it's the best coffee and atmosphere in Guildford. The manager is amazing, always super friendly and always up for a quick chat. The pastries are awesome. lots of crafty stuff to look at and do!

Art & Grind has to be one of the cosiest and creative cafes in Guildford. It's my favourite place to have a hot drink or lunch. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly.

Here we go: What a brilliant place! I like coffee and here they have THE best coffee ever. Truly exceptional. Breakfast for me was Ham and Cheese croissant. Lovely, very tasty and served beautifully. So much nicer than the normal grab and go breakfast from the chains. The staff are great fun, to me, that’s always the sign of a good business if the staff are enjoying themselves. Oh, and there’s more! Art and photography adorn the walls for your enjoyment (purchase if you wish). There are activities for everyone of all ages to have a go at. I’d suggest to go in, order your drink of choice and something to eat, sit, relax, wander, wonder and soak up the space that’s a spa for the soul. After all, the purpose of art is to wash the dust of daily life from your soul.

Lovely, local, independent coffee shop. Excellent coffee, made consistently well. The cakes and pastries are tasty too. Staff are efficient and pleasant. Artist's work displayed around the cafe area is interesting to view and changes regularly, plus there's an exhibition space upstairs. Plenty of opportunities to draw yourself if you like, although I'm not artistically skilled myself! Currently our Guildford favourite.
